efficiently - a lazy person's time management techniques

I am a particularly bad houseworker. I hate doing housework and everyone around me knows that I am extremely lazy. Every time I do a chore, I feel like a fly on the wall, spreading it all over the place and not getting anything done.

For example, I try to use the water from the laundry to mop the floor while I'm doing the laundry. The result is that half the laundry is washed and the floor is mopped. Half of the floor was mopped and I had to wait for the next time to clear the water for the clothes, and then I ran to do the laundry again ...... Later I could only do the laundry and then do the laundry, not both mopping and so on. After washing, then slowly mopping the floor. The result is that it takes a long time and it feels like a little chore can take half a day.

I've always envied women who are handy, but for a lazy person, housework is something I don't do when I can. For a while, I got hooked on "shed", so I threw things away to ease the chores a bit. When I moved to a new house, I didn't small portable vacuum cleaner have a lot of stuff, but as time went on, it started to get messy again.

After learning time management, I started making daily task lists. But it was usually on a work and study level. But with the holidays off, there is no longer a reason to let chores pile up and no longer an excuse that I am too busy to clean the house.

On this day, I'm going to do a cleanse. A chore using the time management methods I've learned. Put it first in the list of the ugliest frogs of the day, which means make sure you swallow it.

I'm going to collect the chores I'm going to do and turn them into a list.

The first major category: tidy up the room, including the wardrobe, shoe cupboard, kitchen and toilet. Clean out the clothes that need to be washed and the things that I don't want.

The second major category: cleaning, including wiping down tables and all furniture with surfaces, mopping the floor and washing the toilets.

The third major category: washing clothes, containing the machine wash part and the hand wash part.

Fourth category: taking out the rubbish.

Again, the order is marked in order of priority. Then it's a matter of following the list and doing it by the book. One afternoon makes the home look brand new. I don't do things that aren't listed in the list, even when I see them, for example, some of the flowers in the house are dead and some are dying. I would have stopped and gone back to the flowers if I hadn't before. But this time I just moved the flowers around a bit, wiped down the perimeter of the pot and left it alone. As today's task was going to be mainly cleaning up. It didn't matter if the flowers were dead or alive.

For some things that were not listed, I found out and wrote them down in time. For example, some small drawers had to be sorted out, there were some expired food items in the fridge, dead potted plants were brought in and thrown away, etc. Over the next few days, when I saw a task on the list, I completed it. It was very easy.

The tip for completing the chores this time is: first make a list of the chores to be done. If you can do one a day, assign it to a daily task. If you need to tackle it all at once, sort it out and arrange to do it in a cost-saving order.

Next, maintain it daily and try not to do it when it piles up. Then it will break down and you won't want to do it at all.

Eventually, if you really don't want to do it but have to, do the most important ones. For example, tidy up the most messy area of the house today, wash the clothes you like to wear the most. Gobble up the food that is going to spoil.
