The technical term for nano-sponge is Melamine sponge (Melamine Sponge), cellulose sponge cloth manufacturers which is also known as Cleaning Sponge, Magic Sponge, and Magic Wipe. It is very effective to clean household stainless steel products, bathroom supplies, glass supplies, ceramic tiles, leather sofas, cars, tables and chairs, wood floors and other things, and it only requires water to remove stains when cleaning, so everyone is familiar with it shortly.

Although the raw material used in nano-sponge production is melamine, recent reports have stated that it does not pose a threat to human health. The concerns surrounding its use stem from the melamine-tainted milk powder incident. It is important to note that while melamine itself is non-toxic, when mixed with milk powder and consumed by children, it can cause kidney stones and long-term malnutrition. This is because melamine is indigestible and offers no nutritional value. To put it simply, just because something is not poisonous does not mean it should be ingested. For example, eating a stone may result in digestion problems, malnutrition or even death. Ultimately, the unscrupulous actions of some businesses who add melamine to milk powder for increased nitrogen levels are responsible for these harmful consequences in children, such as the infamous big-head dolls.

As a contrast to melamine, more and more people are concerned about the amount of formaldehyde released by magic wipes.

The screenshot shows a limit according to textile class II (direct contact with skin) requirements of 75mg/kg, which is 50 times the standard. The formaldehyde content shall not exceed 75 mg/kg in accordance with the "National Textile Products Basic Safety Technical Specifications" GB18401-2010, "Class B - Direct Contact with the Skin". Dishcloths are too casual as underwear for this test, and it does not show anything.

As per the "Health Standards for Formaldehyde in Living Rooms", the permissible level of formaldehyde in indoor air is 0.08 mg/cubic meter. To measure this concentration, place the nano-sponge in a sealed, spacious beaker. Following this method, it is likely that all household renovation materials will exceed the limit. It is important to note that the concentration of formaldehyde being referred to is that of the indoor air and not that within a small enclosed space.

In spite of being a water-soluble and chemically unstable substance, formaldehyde has dissipated until it is enriched. Compared with the convenience offered by nano sponges, and the disadvantages of many cleaning utensils before it (nano sponges are not easily molded, people who have used it should have noticed that stainless steel wire is harmful to tableware, sponge mold is a very serious problem, and ordinary dishcloths are fungal centers).

In 1980, the state implemented relevant standards for the use of melamine resin in tableware. These standards have been revised twice and are currently known as GB9690-2009. Although melamine is used in both tableware and nano-sponges, they serve different purposes. While there is currently no national standard for nano-sponges, the existing standard for tableware can be used as a reference to determine if the nano-sponge meets the required amount of formaldehyde migration. It is important to refrain from stating that a product does not meet standards without proper evaluation. Additionally, many items contain formaldehyde and it is necessary to consider the level at which it may have negative effects before labeling a product as non-compliant.

In addition to its special three-dimensional network structure, the nano-sponge forms a nano-capillary after wetting, which has a very strong cleaning effect. However, the nano-sponge is meant for external use and not for consumption.

Furthermore, the nano-sponge itself has good physical stability, does not melt into water, and is fireproof.

However, the quality of nano-sponge products on the market is uneven, the choice of time to pay more attention to the selection of businesses, the regular business of producing high-quality nano-sponge using improved foam processes, compression processes, formaldehyde curing processes, nano-sponge was demonstrated to have a high density, no odor, good flexibility, wear and durability, and better cleaning power.
