- CO2 laser engraving machine is mainly used for engraving non-metallic materials, such as wood, leather and plastic.

- Fiber optic light source class is mainly used for engraving metal or have a lacquer surface of higher hardness materials, less suitable for engraving wood.

- Green light source is commonly used in acrylic in the three-dimensional image carving, but also can carve transparent glass and other materials.

- Diode light source was originally a light source for stage lighting, there are new applications in the laser engraving industry, the principle is similar to the magnifying glass in the sunlight ignition.

When choosing a laser engraving machine, you need to consider the advantages and disadvantages of each type. CO2 laser engraving machine has a variety of engraving materials, high power, fast and high precision, but the weight is large and affordable, suitable for factory use. Fiber laser engraving machine has the characteristics of high precision, fast and suitable for high-volume operation, but more expensive and larger, suitable for factory automated production line. Purple laser engraving machine has a wide range of engraving materials and multi-purpose features, but expensive and heavy weight, suitable for high-end manufacturing. Green laser engraving machine can realize three-dimensional engraving and 3-dimensional positioning engraving, but the volume is large and expensive. Diode laser engraving machine is inexpensive, small and easy to move, but the engraving speed is slow and can not carve pure metal, more suitable for personal DIY home or small and medium-sized businesses in small quantities customized.
