Powerful secret societies, the five you know

Conspiracy theorists are right about 1 thing:secret societies do exist and they are prettyscary! Watch your back, your neighbor just mightbe one of them!We start off our top five list with the Freemasons. They are the secret society that discovereda huge treasure and hid it in historical monumentsaround the United States. That's also the plot to National Treasure. Keep watching if you want to know what they really do…Number 5The Freemasons.Did you know that the Masons actually fakedthe moonlanding? And they were also responsiblefor murdering Abraham Lincoln? Wellof course this has never been proven but theseare just some of the theories surroundingthis powerful and secret society. But who are they? I of course have some realand factual things to tell you although i know thetheories are way more exciting…Freemasonry is the world’s oldest and largestfraternity. It’s not really ‘secret’obviously, since we’re here talking aboutit, but the group is very exclusive and usessecret handshakes to recognize each other.I read in an article the other day by a journalistwho was allowed into a Mason meeting, butnot the whole thing. The members told himit’s nothing like in the movies, they gettogether to talk about community service andpromote intellectual and cultural activities. They told the journalist that they can’tactually talk about politics or religion inthe meetings. BUT- then they kicked him outso we’ll never really know what happens. The Freemasons started in medieval Europeas a guild for stonemasons, the people whodesigned buildings and cut stone. They startedbecoming more and more powerful and copiedsome of the symbols and traditions from theKnights Templar from the crusades.

Powerful secret societies, the five you know

The meetingsare full of symbols, signs, and ancient rituals. The All- Seeing- Eye on the dollar bill issaid to be a masonic symbol but did you knowthat it actually comes from the ancient Egyptiansand Hebrews? However, there are a couple ofodd things about the dollar that I’ll tellyou about in a little bit. Just wait untilwe get to the Illuminati…So the question is, how did a group that wascreated by stonemasons become a secret societythat is now blamed for masterminding globalevents?Well the symbolism and lessons that they supposedlyteach and the fact that they don’t sharewhat they actually do of course is going tomake them seem suspicious. In the past theywere trying to bring education to the generalpublic and were probably forced to meet insecret because they were going against theteachings of the Catholic Church. In fact, the Roman Catholic Church actually forbidsCatholics from joining the society under painof excommunication. Ooooooo. A long time agoPope Clement found out about the Masons andhow they were trying to spread knowledge andfreedom among the people-probably becausesomebody blabbed. I’m sure it wasn’t allas innocent as it seems and the Pope didn’tlike that at all. He said it was some sortof Satanic cult that went against God. I couldprobably also go on and on about the Conspiracytheories surrounding the Catholic Church soI’ll save that for another video…The main symbol for the Freemasons are thesquare and compasses which are tools usedby masons and architects. The letter G standsfor God or Geometry, possibly both. Each tooland shape is used to teach a lesson but don’task me what they are because I have no idea.Let me know if you do!That my friends, is probably how conspiracytheories arise with all the symbols, secrethandshaking, and what not. The Masons havebeen a powerful force in American historyand people say that the Masons were responsiblefor causing the American Revolution, especiallysince most of the founding fathers were members.Over the years the Mason’s power startedbecoming more noticeable since many famousand wealthy people were members and proudof it. Fun fact- The first third party inthe United States was actually the anti-masonicparty who was getting worried that the Masonswere taking over. The actually lost the 1828presidential election to Andrew Jackson, whowas a proud Mason. It actually started whena man from New York broke his vow of secrecyto the Masons and then disappeared… AndrewJackson is the president they are taking offthe $20 bill and replacing with Harriet Tubman. What’s interesting to me is that for a secretsociety, the Masons were pretty famous. Everyoneknew about them and a lot of politicians andfamous people were members and proudly talkedabout it. It’s like they have to let everyoneknow they are in a secret society but you’renot allowed to join. They have to talk aboutit a little bit, otherwise no one would care…Here are some famous members: Mozart, TheodoreRoosevelt, Mark Twain, Winston Churchill,Henry Ford, John Wayne, HoudiniNumber 4Skull and BonesNow this one is pretty cool I have to say.

The Order of Skull and Bones holds the titleof the oldest student secret society in theUnited States. People say that it is a branchof the Illuminati and also controls the CIA.Pretty powerful accusations which the CIAdenies of course. The CIA always denies everythingwhether it’s true or not so that doesn’treally mean anything. In the 2004 U.S. Presidential election, boththe Democratic and Republican nominees, GeorgeBush and John Kerry, were alumni of Skulland Bones. George W. Bush wrote in his autobiography,"[In my] senior year I joined Skull and Bones,a secret society; so secret, I can't say anythingmore”. When someone asked John Kerry whatit meant that he and Bush were both Bonesmen,he said, "Not much, because it's a secret."Wonderful! It’s been around since 1832 which is prettyold for the US- not if you’re from anywhereelse in the world where old is over 1000 yearsor something…Skull and Bones does a good job of keepingquiet, about what they do. Inany secret society it always depends on howwell they can keep a secret. They select newmembers every spring as part of Yale University’sTap Day. This is when Skull and Bones members(and other secret societies) go around literallytapping people on the shoulder as an invitationto join the society. I think this could getconfusing really fast. How do you know whichsecret society is tapping you?Anyway, Skull and Bones also uses Masonicrituals during the meetings they hold in thebuilding that they call the ‘Tomb’.Just what I picture- very cloak and dagger. They started keeping the names of the membersa secret in the 1970’s. In their spare timeapparently they like to steal the skulls offamous people, like the Apache Warrior Geronimo, and hiding them somewhere inside the tomb-nice guys, super classy. Yale is quick toreply that The Tomb is not on University Propertyso they don’t know anything about it….

Education & Training

Famous Members: John Kerry, George H W Bush,George W Bush, and William Howard Taft. Funfact, Taft was the 27th and fattest presidentof the United States-whose father co-founded Skull and Bones. Hmmmnotice a pattern of fathers and sons here? And presidents…? I’ll just leave it atthat.Number 3The Rosicrucian OrderWho?? Exactly. You probably haven’t heard much about thisgroup but they are the sworn enemy of theIlluminati. Shyeah! They are believed to haveemerged in the 1600’s (or earlier, it’shard to say.) They love the powers of theoccult and bring together elements of Egyptianand Hebrew wisdom and symbolism, like theMasons. This group is super-secret and the storiesand theories can get kind of confusing sobear with me. Ok, originally the group wasso secret that only 8 people knew about itso in the 1600s somebody published some anonymousmanifestos to let people know about this group.Supposedly there was a German Doctor and mysticnamed Christian Rosenkreuz (get it Rosenkreuz,Rose- cross) who travelled and studied inthe Middle East learning medicine and alchemy, things like that. He tried to bring his knowledgeback to Europe but the years went by and travellingwasn’t what it is now. It took years toget around back then.Since he couldn’t get back to Germany hecreated the Rosicrucians with the 8 membersthat I was telling you about. Each memberwas a doctor and a sworn bachelor, and theyundertook an oath to heal the sick for free, maintain a secret fellowship, and to finda replacement for himself before he died. That way they could keep the knowledge safefrom the Catholic Church and the rest of societywho probably wouldn’t be able to handleit. Since it is likely that much of the knowledgeabout hospitals and bathing came from theMoors, medieval European society would probablyhave killed them first, asked questions later.Their symbol is a rosy cross, used by theTemplars before them, and it is said to evenpredate Christianity. The symbol, I mean. Not the secret society. So you know all the rumors surrounding theIlluminati of murders and plots to destroythe government and religion, it was actuallythe Rosicrucians who were the first ones tostart spying on the members of the Illuminatiand accused them of all of their crimes. Whichis when all the conspiracy theories of theilluminati started, coincidence? I think not. When the manifestos came out, people triedto contact the secret society from the pamphlets, including Rene Descartes, William Shakespeare, and the philosopher and scientist Sir FrancisBacon. In fact, by some accounts, Sir Francis Baconwas not only actually one of the secret societymembers, but he may have written the manifestoshimself. Confused yet??? Some Rosicruciansclaim he wrote Shakespeare's works as well-whaaaa?Famous Members (we think): Isaac Newton, GeorgeWashington, Abraham Lincoln, Benjamin Franklin,Walt Disney, Napoleon BonaparteNumber 2The Bilderberg GroupThis secret organization is different fromthe others since it isn’t really a clubor official secret society. The BilderbergGroup is a name given to a circle of around120 highly influential people who meet eachyear in private, with strong government sponsorshipand military security, to discuss global issues.According to the Bilderberg Conference websiteit is the annual forum for informal, off-the-recorddiscussions about global trends and the majorissues facing the world. Wow that really clearsit up… doesn’t it?Attendance at these world-class conferencesis strictly by invitation only. Invitationby whom??The first meeting was held in 1954 at theHotel Bilderberg in the Netherlands to helpimprove relations between Western Europe andthe US. See, here is the hotel.

Now the Hotel changes and as you can see theywould rather be a little bit more isolated:Right there.European politicians, princes, and prime ministersorganized the event along with the CIA andthe US presidential advisers. There were 2guests from each nation, each representinga liberal and conservative point of view and11 Americans. Everyone had a great time andthey decided to make it an annual event. Yay!I think it’s a good thing right?Well everyone that’s invited thinks it’sgreat since they all say they can finallyspeak honestly to one another- which is kindof a scary thought. But since it’s so secret, how do we know what they’re doing? Theymight be planning future assassinations orplaying croquet for all we know…Who knows what exactly happens? Especiallysince the press is prohibited from entering. The attendees are forbidden, under oath, toshare any details.Soooooo, conspiracy theorists can have a fieldday with this one. Some accuse the Bilderberggroup of conspiring to impose capitalist domination, others of using the opportunity to establisha world government. Here are some famous attendees: Bill Clinton,Bill Gates (what is Bill Gates doing there?),and officials from the World Bank. Hmm maybethey all planned the sex scandal with Strauss-Kahnand the hotel maid….If you don’t knowwhat I’m talking about you should Googleit. Now for the most dangerous and powerful secretsociety, but first, which secret society wouldyou rather belong to?Number 1: The Order of the IlluminatiI saved the best for last! If anyone is toblame for the murder of JFK and John Lennon,it’s the Illuminati. Ok, not really but, the Illuminati hasbeen blamed for almost every unexplained eventin history as well as wars and revolutions. Many US presidents, Warren Buffet, Madonnaand even Katy Perry, are alleged to be partof the modern day Illuminati. Recently theyhave also been accused of murdering Prince. Why? I’m not sure to tell you the truth. There are many groups called Illuminati throughouthistory, but what most people refer to isthe Order of the Illuminati that was an eliteorganization founded in Bavaria focused onenlightenment. It was originally founded asa secret society in 1776, keep this date in mind, with the goal of bringing about spiritual and political change. The organization’s members included forwardthinking influential leaders from the toptiers of society who opposed general superstition, religious oppression, and political abuse. So far sounds good to me!The group grew quickly as progressive politiciansand influential intellectuals joined and itbecame a powerful political force throughoutthe world. That is of course until the Popeordered they disband (yes, the same Pope thathated the Masons too) and the Bavarian governmentmade it a criminal offense to join or supportthe Order of the Illuminati. Many conspiracy theorists claim that thereare many symbols on the dollar bill that representthe Illuminati. Let’s look first at thegreat seal with the eagle. The coat of arms above the eagle’s headhas 13 stars. The number 13 is supposed torepresent the original 13 colonies of theUnited States. From a darker point of view the number 13is evil and the 13 stars are formed in theshape of a hexagram, a demonic symbol.

Rememberthat most of these societies are accused oftrying to destroy religion and control allthings from the shadows. The number 13 is repeated all over the dollarbill: 13 stars in the constellation over theeagle's head, 13 stripes in the shield, 13arrows held in the eagle's left talon, 13letters in e pluribus unum on the scroll carriedby the eagle, and 13 layers to the unfinishedpyramid.Theorists believe this repetition of the number13 also demonstrates the power of 13 Americanfamilies that dominated politics – amongthem Washington, Solomon, and Jefferson – duringthe time of the Seal's creation. Each of thesefamilies allegedly contained members of theIlluminati.Back to the unfinished pyramid, at the bottomis the year 1776 in Roman Numerals. Againthis refers to the year the Declaration ofIndependence was signed. Theorists believethis is a reference to the year the BavarianIlluminati was founded. Crazy coincidence?Floating just above the unfinished pyramidsits the most notorious of all symbols associatedwith the Illuminati… The Eye of Providencewatching over everything. You can also seein Latin NUVUS ORDO SECLORUM —New orderof the ages. What do you guys think? Some of the conspiracy theories swirling aroundthe Illuminati include that they were responsiblefor the French Revolution, multiple diseaseoutbreaks, and in general mastermind eventsto control the world and gain political powerto establish a New World Order.Since they are so secretive and no one reallyknows for sure what happened to them, conspiracytheorists maintain that the Illuminati survivedand the organization still exists today.
